IFC Entrance hall
Centre de langues - French Institute of Cambodia
For this project, the goal was to transform the entrance hall of the Institut Français du Cambodge into a lively and welcoming space, a place that immediately sets the tone when you arrive.
I created a large hand-painted mural inspired by Cambodian flora, combined with the rooster — a strong symbol of France. Placed at the heart of the composition, the rooster becomes a visual bridge between the two cultures, surrounded by tropical plants and flowing shapes.
A deep blue line — taken from the visual identity and logo color of the Institut Français du Cambodge — runs across the wall, connecting all the elements and echoing movement, exchange, and circulation through the space. Painted directly onto the curved wall, the mural follows the architecture of the hall and brings warmth, color, and energy to this transitional area.
The entrance hall becomes a living landscape, where French and Cambodian identities meet through nature, symbols, and color.
